About the Job
As a Data Engineer, you will be at the forefront of setting up the data practice within the company and help our clients with their data problems.
You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining secure and compliant data infrastructure and processing pipelines using various techniques and ETL tools, such as Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Fabric, etc.
You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their data needs and help them derive insights from their data. You will also collaborate with data scientists and machine learning engineers to build and deploy machine learning models.
Your varied key responsibilities include:
- Design, build, and maintain data infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Design and implement ETL processes, emphasizing data integration.
- Utilize SQL for database management, optimization, and querying.
- Develop and implement data engineering best practices.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and solve complex data problems.
- Ensure data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
- Mentor and train junior data engineers.
About You
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- You have 3+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
- Experience with database design, data modeling and data warehousing is a plus.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure is a plus.
- Experience with data modeling, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
- Knowledge of T-SQL, Databricks and Jupyter is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
